As we stood there, the wind, the sea, the raptor, and the mountain
articulated a coherent logic. No spoken words escaped our breath,
nor did profound contemplation was let to spoil our moment. We sipped
our coffee and watched the world gyrate around the bird, while our
memory scrolls and cameras began to etch forever-images.

The town of Agios Nikolaos is visible in the background, and the island
Pseira to the right.
We came upon this view during a clear August morning on our way
to Sita. We stopped at the Panorama Cafe-Restaurant for a morning
coffee and came upon an incredible view of an eagle (close-up)
soaring effortlessly above the coast. The discoloration in the
water at the surf line is caused by underwater thermal springs.
