This photo was taken
from the Acropolis,
and it includes the Lysicrates monument just below,
and the themple of Olympian Zeus (or Olympieion)
and the Panathinaiko Stadio in the background.
Two photos below were taken from the acropolis
in 2004 and show that while the city around has boomed, the ancient
monuments have remained unchanged since 1907.
