While in the winter Pelion is a favorite destination for those who love show, in the summer, it is a great place for trekking. Mt. Pelion offers a multitude of footpaths throughout its slopes. Many are clearly marked with signage, and some are even paved with well-preserved stones. While in the summer the temperatures can climb dramatically, the thick foliage provide sufficient shelter from the sun.
