The famous windmills of Mykonos photograph well with a little effort, but the site left a lot to be desired. It is an enormous parking lot with hundreds of cars parked (some abandoned) right behind the windmills. The area in front of them is as baren as a moonscape, but all this won't stop the countless of tourist from flocking to take their picture in front of them. The truth is, they stand in dignity despite their bleak surroundings.
