Grave Circle B is a complex of graves to the southwest of the Mycenaean walls. It is part of the prehistoric cemetary that was enclosed by a circular stone wall, part of which is visible in this photograph. It encloseed 26 graves, most of which are shaft graves characteristic of early Mycenaean funerary architecture. Stone stele marked a number of the graves. A great number of offerings were found alongside the dead that belonged to a group of pre-eminent individuals of the 17 c. BCE.
