Olympeion and Acropolis of Athens

The Olympeion is the largest temple in Greece. Its construction took 700 years as it began by Peisistratos in the 6th c. BCE and it was completed by Hadrian in 130 CE during the Roman era. The temple was dedicated to the Olympian Zeus.
