Getting to Skiathos

By Ferry

JetFerry 1 (high speed) owned by GA Ferries (click for company info and schedule) provides daily service from Agios Konstantinos.

Deadalus of Minoan Lines (click for company info and schedule) ferries passengers twice per week from Thessaloniki to Heraklion stopping along the way at other islands like Paros, Tinos, Mykonos, Syros, or Naxos.

Milena, owned by GA Ferries makes the trip from Thessaloniki to Heraklion also twice per week from May until September, and stops at Skiathos, Skopelos, Syros, Tinos, Paros, Naxos, Ios, and Santorini.

Many more ferries depart daily from Volos and Agios Konstantinos especially during the summer months. Ferries make the trip in 3,5 hours and cost between 8 to 10 Euro.

By Hydrophoil (Flying Dolphin)

Flying Dolphins sail the route from Volos in 1 hour and 15 minutes (~€ 17), and from Agios Konstantinos to Skiathos in about 1,5 hour (~€ 18).

By Air

Skiathos is served by a small airport which receives charter flights and during the summer up to five flights daily from Athens. The flight from Athens takes about 20 minues and costs around € 59. Visit Olympic Airways for timetables.
