3=good beach, would choose it for swimming among other beaches if we were in the area

S=sand (sandy beach)
P=pebbles (small round rocks comprise the beach where the surf brakes, sand further in)

Water

3=very nice and clean sea. We would go swimming there again if we were in the area

(just my own unscientific observation of the water feel and appearance)
My family and I enjoy the water when it is crystal clear, cool and refreshing instead of warm, and free of any visible floating particles of any kind. Also we do not like to see algae of any kind settled on the beach.

Clothing

Topless sunbathing is not common

Access

Good=paved road all the way to the beach, parking near the beach
Some trees provide shade for those who arrive early

Amenities

R=restaurant (on the beach)
B=bar (on the beach)
T=town within walking distance
O=organized beach (the shop owners have installed free umbrellas and the beach is maintained regularly)
H=hotel on the beach

RV / Camper Accessibility

P= RV Room for Parking. Site suitable for parking on the side of the road for the day, but not for camping. Nearby Lygia and Riza might be a better choice for parking an RV.

Snorkeling

2=the bottom of the ocean is of some interest around the rocky south and North ends. I dove at the south end and had good visibility and underwater variety.

Notes

Very nice beach which is developing rapidly. Many hotels and homes have been built during the last few years.

It can be crowded during the peek months of the summer.

Large umbrellas and beach beds are provided free of charge but the bar and cafe owners in hopes that bathers would prefer their store when they decide to drink something.
