5=the sea water was some the best for swimming.
We would go way out of our way to swim there again
(just my own unscientific observation of the water feel and appearance)
My family and I enjoy the water when it is crystal clear, cool and
refreshing instead of warm, and free of any visible floating particles
of any kind. Also we do not like to see algae of any kind settled
on the beach.
Clothing
Topless sunbathing is common
Access
Boat=accessible by boat only.
Boats bring bathers from Paxi and return every half hour or
so to pick up people until the evening. Boats also arrive from
Parga.
Amenities
R=restaurant (one on the beach, and one way up the hill
with great views of the entire island)
RV / Camper Accessibility
N= site
is unsuitable for RV parking
Snorkeling
P=looks promising but I did not dive
Notes
There is a dirt road connecting Vitoumi beach and Vrika beach.
An old bus takes people between the two beaches and the tiny town
inland. I walked the road in about twenty minutes. If you do, bring
enough water along.
