Tigani (Tiro) Beach

Location

Arkadia (Near Tiro)

Beach Name

Tigani

My Rating Overall

1=beach was fine for swimming and sunbathing one time

Beach

LP=large pebbles (large pebbles comprise the beach)
R=rock (large rocks on the beach or the bottom of the sea)

Sea Floor

LP=large pebbles (large pebbles comprise the bottom of the sea)

Water

1=the sea water was not very inviting at the time we visited. We did more sunbathing than swimming

(just my own unscientific observation of the water feel and appearance)
My family and I enjoy the water when it is crystal clear, and cool instead of warm. We don' like to see any visible floating particles of any kind or algae settled on the beach.

Clothing

Topless sunbathing is common

Access

Good=paved road all the way to the beach, parking near the beach

Amenities

H=hotel on the beach

RV / Camper Accessibility

N= Campers explicitly forbidden, or the site is unsuitable for RV parking

Snorkeling

P=looks promising but I did not dive

Notes

There is a cave around the north end that can be reached by paddle boat.

Comments It is the best beach EVER!! I go there every year and I have to say that it is Amazing!! I never have ahd problems with that beach! The poeple who work there are very friendly and so are the people who come to swim there. They have an amazing cave at the other side of the mountain/clif and you can get there by the Great Paddle Boats that they have which you can rent!! People also climb up onto the rocky cliff (next to the cave) and they dive in!! It's so much fun, and they also have umbrellas already set out for you!!! What else could you possibly need?? I would recomend this beach "Tigani Beach" Anyday!!!!

Comments It's a fantastic beach, would go every year in summer if only i wasn't 20000 miles away, we live in Australia. I know this area and beach very well, both my parents come from Tiros. Highly Recommended !!!!!!!!!!!

Have you been to this beach? and it will be published in this space.
