Notes: Visited this beach during August 2003. Excellent! Ideal for
all.....families, couples. The view of the beach from the main road is
breathtaking. Well worth a visit. I'll DEFINATELY RETURN.

COMMENTS This beach overlooks Koukounaries, as you approach down
the hill and you are 0.5km from Koukonaries on the left hand side on
the hill is a small break in the trees. There is parking for only two
cars on the side of the road. When we saw one car parked there, as it
was shaded, we parked next to it. When we got out of the car, we
noticed the break in the trees and a worn path through the foliage.
We gathered up our wine, towels, sun creams etc and headed down the
path. It was difficult to get down and took a good 10 minutes, but it
was worth it in the end. We ended up on a long sand spit, perfect
white sand, about 100 yards long. The sea was crystal clear and way in
the distance you could make out people on Koukounaries beach. To the
left of the beach was a rock headland. On the beach was another young
couple, who were naked. My boyfriend and I, stripped off and were able
to spend the day on this lovely beach. Since only two cars could park
on the road, no one else enjoyed this beach. We swam around the rock
headland away from Koukounaries and about 500 yards up the road was a
stone beach frequented by couples, all nude. A very pleasant day.
