The large rocks at the edge of Hydra town act as landing spot
for bathers who find plenty of flat spots to place their towels.
Entry to the water is also abrupt jumping from the rocks or the
flat cement pads placed there for the bathers.

Water
4=sea water was excellent and inviting for swimming. We
would go out of
our way to swim there again
(just my own unscientific observation of the water feel and appearance)
My family and I enjoy the water when it is crystal clear, and cool
instead of warm. We don' like to see any visible floating particles
of any kind
or algae settled
on the beach.

Topless sunbathing is common

Good=paved road all the way to the beach, parking near
the beach
There are no cars on Hydra island so the beach is
a short walk from the town

N= Campers explicitly forbidden, or the site
is unsuitable for RV parking
No cars are allowed in Hydra island
Snorkeling
