among other beaches if we were in the area. If
we were visiting the area we would consider this
beach a good place to swim.

4 / 5 = Sea water was excellent and inviting for swimming.
We would go out of our way to swim there again
(These are my, and my family's own unscientific observations of
the water feel and appearance during our visit)
We enjoy the water when it is crystal clear, and cool instead of
warm. We don' like visible floating particles of any kind or algae
settled on the beach.

Hard to rate this beach because it is taken over by nudists and anyone approaching the straw umbrellas is immediately stared down by groups of naked old men who stand up and make sure everyone sees their private parts.
This doesn't make the beach a very appealing place to hang out, and since there are no signs declaring its nature it can be a huge surprise if you happen to venture there with your family.
Beyond the umbrellas there is a long stretch of sand that has remained undeveloped where one can find some space. It is lined by soft sand, and it's backed by very large sand dunes. If naturalism is not in your plans the nearby "Magic" beach is a good choice to swim.

Visited this beach in july 2006, found it to be very long, wide, and sandy. as a nudist myself it was a pleasure to go there having discovered it on our third day of our anual holiday.I would recommend this beach to first time nudist's or those who want a quiet beach with no shop's bar's or resturaunt's. Ttake a book or magazine, plenty of sun cream and relax, BLISS.
