Ag. Theologos

Beach Name

Ag. Theologos

Location

Kos Island, Greece

Overall Rating

2 / 5 = good beach, could go for swimming again if we happened to be in the area, though it would not be our first choice.

Beach

S = sand (sandy beach)

Sea Floor

S = sand (sandy beach)
R = rock (large rocks on the beach or the bottom of the sea)

Water

3 / 5 = Very nice and clean sea. We would go swimming there again if we were in the area

(These are my, and my family's own unscientific observations of the water feel and appearance during our visit)
We enjoy the water when it is crystal clear, and cool instead of warm. We don' like visible floating particles of any kind or algae settled on the beach.

Access

Good = Paved road all the way to the beach, parking near the beach

Amenities

R = Restaurant (near the beach)

RV / Camper Accessibility

Room for RV Parking

Snorkeling

Does not look promising, I did not dive

Clothing

Topless sunbathing is common

Notes

Another out-of-the-way beach that offers great scenery and beautiful sunsets but it's often too windy and rough. Great restaurant on the hill to have dinner overlooking the sunset.

Visitors' Reports:

Philip (2007)

We went to this beach while on Kos in May 2007.
The main beach by the restaurant was stoney, so we followed the track from the carpark south for a few hundred metres, and came accross some fantastic sandy coves. We picked one and spent a good hour alone and naked in a sheltered bay, when we left there was another naked couple enjoying the next cove all to their self too.
