Location
Lefkada, Near Lefkas town.
Beach Name
Agios Ioannis and Myloi (Windmills)

and another part named Myloi after the old windmills that are found
there.

My Rating Overall
2 = good beach, could go for swimming
again if we happened to be in the area
Beach
Small Pebbles
Sea Floor
Small Pebbles and smooth Rock at places
Water
3 = very nice and clean sea. We would go swimming there again if
we were in the area
(These are just my own unscientific observation of the water feel
and appearance during our visit)
My family and I enjoy the water when it is crystal clear, and cool
instead of warm. We don' like visible floating particles
of any kind
or algae settled
on the beach.
Clothing
Topless sunbathing is common
Access
Good = paved road all the way to the beach, parking near
the beach
Amenities
Restaurant (on the beach)
Bar (on the beach)
Organized beach
RV / Camper Accessibility
Site suitable for parking for the day, but not for camping.
Many campers were parked on the beach during our visit. Most seemed
to enjoy wind surfing.
Snorkeling
S = only sand bottom
Notes
Ai Giannnis is a very long beach with different areas exhibiting
unique character. At the south end the beach is organized with
a lifeguard on duty, while near the area called "Myloi" was packed
with windsurfers (who made normal swimming at this spot uncomfortable).
Further north the beach is offered for quiet swimming.
